Mere mortals will never have Superman’s super-vision, but the power of 20/20 sight is now available thanks to Warby Parker’s new line of Clark Kent-inspired specs.
The eyewear company teamed up with Warner Bros. on the Warby Parker X Man of Steel capsule collection, two exclusive frame styles inspired by the Superman franchise.
Both the “Chamberlain” and “Percey” styles retail for $95 — prescription lenses included — with $15 from each sale going to 826NYC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students improve their writing skills. As is standard practice for the company, for every pair of glasses purchased, they’ll donate a pair to a person in need.

“Superman is the original do-gooder, and eyeglasses are a defining part of Clark Kent’s iconic look,” Warby Parker co-founder Neil Blumenthal said in a statement about the licensing partnership. “When we started Warby Parker, we made a conscious decision to build a company that could be profitable and do good in the world without charging a premium for it.”
The frames are now available on a special Man of Steel microsite and will also be sold at the brand’s brick-and-mortar locations. Man of Steel hits theaters nationwide on June 14, 2013.
