'Big Bang Theory': Leonard as a ThunderCat

ThunderGeeks, hooooo! On tonight’s episode of The Big Bang Theory (on CBS at 8 p.m.), Leonard (Johnny Galecki) meets the holy grail of heterosexual male geekdom: A girl who loves comic books. He even meets Alice (Courtney Ford, True Blood) while shopping for comics, and the two bond so well over their respective collections, Leonard shows off one of his prize possessions: A drawing of Leonard as Lion-O from the animated series ThunderCats by DC Comics co-publisher Jim Lee.

'Big Brother' star Izzy Gleicher never wants to see Cameron again

When Izzy Gleicher saw Survivor legend Cirie Fields in the Big Brother house along with her son, she was excited to play with the pair. Maybe too excited. Izzy formed an immediate alliance with the duo, but often seemed to sublimate her own game to further her idol's — even offering at one point to not use a Veto on herself (should she win it) so Cirie wouldn't be put up for eviction instead.

'Black Bird' boss on the finale's killer improv and fact vs. fiction

Warning: This article contains spoilers about the series finale of Black Bird. It may come as a surprise to fans of novelist and film and TV writer Dennis Lehane, whose works often deal with crime and the pitch-black sides to humanity, that he initially had no interest in adapting Black Bird. After all, the Apple TV+ limited series, which is based on true-crime memoir In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption, follows the story of Jimmy Keene (Taron Egerton), a man who is sent off to a maximum-security institution to elicit a confession from suspected serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser), in a chance to get himself out of a 10-year sentence.

'Black Mirror' creator says relevance of recent AI episode was spooky

When Black Mirror season 6 hit Netflix last summer, the sci-fi show's clever creator Charlie Brooker wasn't able to give many interviews about it due to the Hollywood writer's strike. But now Brooker is free to talk about episodes like "Joan Is Awful," the show's AI-focused episode that ended up being more relevant to pop culture than even he expected. After all, AI and its use in the creation of movies and TV shows was a key topic in last year's Hollywood strikes, with both writers and actors seeking protections against possible replacement by technology.

'Call the Midwife' recap: Episode 6

The story line of a diabetic teenage girl impregnated by her wrong-side-of-the-tracks boyfriend provided all sorts of discussion fodder on this week’s Call the Midwife: There was the historical exploration of how 55 years ago, having children was out of the question for women with diabetes due to the potential medical risks. There was the burgeoning modern concept of diabetes patients administering their own injections and urine tests instead of having a nurse visit daily.

'Captain America' ending: 'Winter Soldier' introduces [SPOILER]!

Another day, another dollar, another Marvel movie that ends on a high note…and then teases the audience with an epilogue sequence that seems purposefully designed to thrill certain members of the audience while purposefully confusing everyone else. Captain America: The Winter Soldier just hit theaters, and as with all its Marvel Studios kin, the end of the movie is only the beginning…of the post-credits sequence! And the Capquel ended on a particularly fascinating teaser, rife with implications for the future of the Marvel Universe.

'Castle': Naked Nathan Fillion!

Last night on ABC’s Castle, Nathan Fillion’s crime-novelist got naked and had wild “Top 20” sex with his first ex-wife. In next week’s episode, he has a reason to wear a tux. I don’t know whether to applaud the show’s producers for knowing exactly what fans want* and giving it to us, or smack them. It’s almost like we, the women who find Fillion hard to resist, are being preyed upon.

'Celebrity Wheel of Fortune' contestant Christian Siriano designed Vanna White's dress

Vanna White will be turning more than letters in a gorgeous creation from Christian Siriano on Monday's episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. The Project Runway mentor is also stepping behind the wheel to compete against Sarah Levy and Krysten Ritter on the latest episode of the TV favorite. No disrespect to the game, of course, but dressing White was definitely the bigger deal for Siriano, as he explains in Entertainment Weekly's exclusive sneak peek (above).
