The one-hour drama tells the story of the five Acosta children as they struggle to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico.
Patricia Cornwell — the author of the best-selling Kay Scarpetta mystery series — opens the doors to her ”office-slash-rare book library” in her home outside Boston. The downside to owning a bevy of antiques? There are ”600-year-old dust mites in there,” she says. LuPone gave birth to Joshua Luke Johnston Nov. 21. Weeks later, she strapped on padding (”mostly foam, and birdseed for my boobs”) and went back to work as a still-pregnant Libby.
On Oct. 2 McCartney will reissue his 1982 pop masterpiece, Tug of War, along with its 1983 companion album, Pipes of Peace, as the latest volumes in the Paul McCartney Archive Collection, which has been overseen by the icon. The multi-disc set will feature each album as well as one disc of bonus audio and visual content. Tug of War has been remixed entirely and Pipes of Peace has a remix of the Michael Jackson collaboration “Say Say Say.
Paul Newman remains one of the great sex symbols of his time, but the legendary actor credits his wife, Joanne Woodward, for helping him embrace the status. In excerpts from his posthumous memoir, Paul Newman: The Extraordinary Life of An Ordinary Man, Newman writes that his wife "gave birth" to the "sexual creature" inside of him. For Newman, who died from lung cancer in 2008 at 83, this sexual awakening came after a lifetime of insecurities.
