Whoopi Goldberg looked as if she'd seen a ghost on Thursday's episode of The View. "Are there any roles you regret turning down?" the 67-year-old moderator asked Michael J. Michael Jackson sells a million in a week, but Maxwell tops the albums chart

Stop me if this sounds familiar: American consumers bought a stunning 1.1 million Michael Jackson albums last week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. One disc alone, the greatest-hits set Number Ones, accounted for 349,000 in sales, far more than any album in the country. Yet since Number Ones is an old release, Billboard rules exclude it from the flagship Billboard 200 albums chart along with all the other Jackson discs that have been selling in large numbers following his tragic passing.

Michael Keaton is a doctor amid the opioid crisis

Hulu is taking on the opioid crisis. From executive producers Danny Strong and Michael Keaton, Dopesick tells the story of how one company launched the worst drug epidemic in American history. Keaton himself stars as Dr. Finnix, a small-town Virginia doctor who's brought a new, supposedly non-addictive drug to help his patients. It's called OxyContin, and it won't take long for him to figure out the truth about it. The series follows OxyContin's creation and its impact, from the members of the Sackler family who developed it to the DEA agents and lawyers who tried to stop it, and of course, the doctors who prescribed it and how it affected their patients' lives.

Michael Keaton on Batman, Beetlejuice, and more of his most memorable roles

"It was just callback after callback after callback." But he loved the concept of opposites, and the script: "Lowell Ganz and Babaloo Mandel, they're terrific comedy writers.

Michael Wilkinson on American Hustle and Batman vs Superman costumes

Much has been written about Michael Wilkinson’s Academy Award-nominated American Hustle wardrobe, but the praise isn’t lost on the costume designer. “This film has been a tremendously exciting journey for me,” Wilkinson — whose past credits include Man of Steel, 300, Watchmen, and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 & 2 — told EW. “The most surprising thing for me is that people seem to have had a personal reaction to the film.
