Best-selling children’s book author Daniel Handler (AKA Lemony Snicket) has a new novel coming this year that’s decidedly not geared toward that same audience. All the Dirty Parts follows Cole, a sex-obsessed high school student, whose exploits develop into a reputation he’s not quite sure he likes. At the same time, something exciting starts buzzing between Cole and his best friend, and he meets a new person called Grisaille. Intrigued? So are we.
When Bradley Cooper decided to tackle the marriage of Leonard Bernstein and his wife, the actress Felicia Montealegre, in the upcoming biopic Maestro, he wanted to capture it in all its complexity. And that meant not straight-washing Bernstein's legacy. Bernstein's three children — Jamie, Nina, and Alexander Bernstein — discussed their father's double life, along with the man who's portraying him in Maestro (which Cooper also wrote and directed), in a new interview with CBS News Sunday Morning.

On Saturday’s SNL hosted by James Franco, Leslie Jones looked genuinely disgusted and on the verge of vomiting during a sketch where Franco played a Bloomingdale’s gift-wrapper who obliviously bleeds on customers after suffering a deep paper cut. And in an Instagram video posted Sunday with Franco by her side, Jones confirmed as much: She was unnervingly close to an awful national embarrassment. “You f–ing traumatized me!” Jones yelled, jokingly, at a smiling Franco.

He was 84. The master of parody boasted a talent for delivering the most ridiculous lines in the straightest way possible, cloaking outright absurdity in obliviousness. Ironically enough, the foundation of that gravitas was built early in his career as a dramatic actor: After serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force and studying at New York City’s famed Actors Studio, the Saskatchewan-born Nielsen popped up on early ’50s TV.

This was the first time my 9 year olds had ever heard of suicide, and to be honest, for a mom who hadn’t discussed yet, I was really okay with how it was covered on Dance Moms.

After playing the former Boston Globe editor-in-chief who helped his team expose the Catholic Church's cover-up of child sexual abuse at the hands of its priests, Schreiber has re-teamed with Baron to help tell this story about his roughly eight-year journey as executive editor of The Washington Post.
