Leonardo DiCaprio and Lily Gladstone, the stars of Killers of the Flower Moon, honored the Native American tribes at the center of the historical drama with their red carpet fashion at the 2024 Golden Globes. "The Osage Nation, we're standing in unison with them for this movie," DiCaprio told Entertainment Tonight reporter Rachel Smith during the red carpet pre-show. Gladstone told Smith that her earrings were a Blackfeet design made by Lenise Omeasoo of Antelope Women Designs, while DiCaprio wore a pin with the symbol of the Osage Nation on the lapel of his Armani tux.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J.J. Knowing is a portentous numerological global-warming-to-the-nth-power thriller, in which Nicolas Cage plays an MIT professor who figures out that The End is near. If you want to know how inept the movie is…well, it’s so inept that you may wish you were watching an M. Night Shyamalan version of the very same premise. At least Shyamalan, in his dud The Happening, is a compulsive audience-gooser, whereas Alex Proyas (The Crow), the director of Knowing, has no idea what to do between calamitous set pieces.

Kristen Wiig oscillates between big-budget movies like Ghostbusters and independent ventures like Nasty Baby. But on Monday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wiig premiered her new “extremely independent” movie, Crying in a Sweater. In every scene from the fake trailer, Wiig lives up to the film’s title by, well, crying into several sweaters. The trailer features an overlay of text praising the film, saying it’s “a raw, aching, tour de force” and that it’s an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival.
