Kevin Feige teases Fantastic Four as a 'big pillar' of the MCU

After 15 years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has assembled a whole pantheon of on-screen superheroes. While Spacey won’t appear, the status of the number itself is unclear.

Khaled Hosseini's And the Mountains Echoed: Interview with the author

You'll be forgiven for thinking that Khaled Hosseini's third novel, And the Mountains Echoed (out today), is just like his previous two. Like bestsellers The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns, his latest is a multi-generational family saga — a novel that starts in rural Afghanistan, yes, but that grows up and out, jumping both forward in time and across the world, to Europe and the United States; and informed, in part, by his own experiences traveling to Afghanistan in recent years.

Kiiara struck 'Gold' with an unlikely pop smash

Some artists toil for years in hopes of reaching the hallowed grounds of music festivals like Lollapalooza. Not pop singer Kiiara, who had only played five shows by the time she hit the music festival stage in late July. Yet the 21-year-old’s greenness didn’t stop thousands of fans from braving the rain to see her—or from singing along. That’s no small feat considering her breakout single, “Gold,” features unintelligible cut-and-paste vocal samples that have hypnotized everyone discovering it on Spotify (where it’s been streamed more than 238 million times) or on TV (where it was featured in an Apple Watch ad).

Kiki Sukezane, the actress behind the coolest Evo: Interview

If Sylar were around, he’d surely covet Miko Otomo’s power: The flashiest new “Evo” on Heroes Reborn can transform into a videogame character. Kiki Sukezane, who plays Miko, isn’t intimidated by all the stunts and motion-capture work. After all, the Kyoto, Japan, native has been practicing the “tate” style of sword fighting — in which participants spend hours honing their movements before ever touching a blade — for six years. The samurai-inspired style resonated with Sukezane, who has samurai ancestors.
