Ainsley Earhardt will be replacing Elisabeth Hasselbeck as co-host on Fox & Friends, Fox announced Tuesday. She’ll start the gig Feb. 29.
Earhardt started working at the network in 2007, and has already appeared on Fox & Friends as a substitute co-host and most recently served as co-host on the show’s earlier relative, Fox & Friends First.

“Ainsley’s relentless work ethic, congeniality and enthusiasm for connecting with our viewers and staff are extremely refreshing,” Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes said in a statement. “She’s a superb team player and an excellent on-air host — we look forward to her joining the show during such a pivotal news year.”
Hasselbeck left the show at the end of 2015 to spend more time with her family. Earhardt will be co-hosting alongside Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. “I am grateful for this opportunity and am thrilled to join Steve and Brian on the curvy couch to deliver Americans their morning news,” she said in a statement.
Fox & Friends airs daily at 6 a.m. ET on Fox.
